A journey illuminating the nature of human beings and their purpose in living and evolving. The teachings are clear and compassionate and one is left with a mountain top view of who we really are and what we are here to do.

About the Book

Becoming Truth is so entitled because it is a detailed comprehensive teaching to help mankind truly understand itself and have the tools to become the truth of the true nature. It is believed and assumed by the author and the author*s source of this receiving that the human being is essentially a divine, eternal being, in an evolution. It is taught that there is no one exempt from this unfolding of beauty, and that it is only necessary for a more and more direct process and practice of loving inquiry into the self to uncover true nature.

Becoming Truth gives many practical understandings and directions to how to apply oneself to this simple yet ultimate task. The book moves through the stages of humanity in both a large historical scale, and a personal lifetime scale, leaving the reader with a framework of understanding the evolutionary process beginning with infancy towards the elderly. These phases are elucidated as stages of the soul as well as stages within a lifetime. A general and constant teaching is given throughout of compassion, acceptance, patience, and perspective that can only come from a timeless wisdom. This wisdom includes everyone and every process, both tragic and wonderful, in one great embrace of understanding and love.

The message and teaching is given that god is within. God is the true nature of all creation, is creator and created. God is who we are in the most essential description, and evolution is the journey to becoming conscious. This perhaps is the central theme and purpose of this writing, to not only teach this, but to show the context of the journey and the process of becoming conscious. Another title could have been Becoming Conscious or Becoming God. Jean delights in all the forms of divine teaching and so throughout the book are the 'feather pages' — these divine feathers are quotes from the Masters and Givers of truth, throughout human history. Teachings from Jesus Christ, Buddha, Sathya Sai Baba, Ramana Maharshi, and Krishna, are interspersed as supporting to the text.

The overall feeling is that it has been said all along, the same essential message repeatedly given and demonstrated. This message is that we are love itself, we are a great oneness, and that we are a being of beauty and indescribable light. Please receive Becoming Truth as a sweet bell of mindfulness beckoning you, ringing its lovely tones in your heart and soul.

About the Author

Jean Christian lives in northern B.C. in a lovely small town where she is a mother and active community member. Jean has a practice in homeopathy, and a ministry of guidance and spiritual mentoring, working with people all over the country by phone. This is her third book, the first being Cycles of Wisdom, also a channeled work of spiritual teaching. The second book is a poetic, personal account of remembered lives entitled Tapestry of a Soul. Working with people brings out parts of the story of truth and these books are a place to allow the whole encompassing picture to be described and given. The next book Embodiment of Peace, will further and extend what is now given in Becoming Truth.
