About the Book

Madeleine Jones is an infant who lives in a nice suburban family in Pennsylvania. Her only “sibling” is Monte, a big chocolate Labrador puppy who constantly entertains the family with his antics. This entertaining true story is the first in a series of Monte’s adventures and is written from the perspective of 6 month old Madeleine. Monte looks huge to Madeleine so the reader will enjoy how Monte’s actions are seen through a baby’s eyes. The book is intended to be read to pre-school children by parents, babysitters and other caregivers. Each page has sounds that the child will enjoy repeating so they can become part of the story, too. The illustrations are those of eight year old Noelle Sadallah, and are guaranteed to make readers laugh out loud.
