Born in a quiet beach-town I spent most of my youthful summers investigating the shores of the nearby forests. I have always had a great appreciation for nature its flora and its animals. During that time I also developed a love for all types of domestic animals including cats. But of all my loves, none could compare to my love of reading. Reading was a way for me to understand my place in the world and the people and other life forms that I shared it with. Through books I was taken from my small town existence to world adventures across vast oceans and across vast time spans.
