About the Authors and Illustrator
Philip Klote loves to have books read to him, make up stories, and give voices to his animals. He is 5 years old. He and his mother developed this story as part of his bedtime routine. He is in pre-kindergarten and very much enjoys the social aspects of school.
Molly Klote is a physician, an active duty Army officer, and a mom. Her favorite role is mother to her three children. Her other publications are in medical research.
Virginia Boulay has been doing graphic design, illustration and painting for twenty five years. Ten years ago she began to illustrate, design and layout educational books for young readers and increasingly has been involved in picture book illustrating. You can view more of her work at her website:
