About the Author

The author is a huge animal lover. She actually adopted Poncho from an animal shelter a decade ago and he turned out to be the best friend she ever had. She frequently donates money and goods to shelters and wishes that she could adopt them all.

This is the real Poncho. He was abandoned at an animal shelter in 1996. He lived at the shelter for quite a while before being adopted by the author. Poncho is still as curious and playful as that first day Jill brought him home. Watch for more books about the adventures of Poncho.
