About the Book

Frank Blake's life is changed forever the day his wife leaves him after twenty-three years of marriage. His divorce is the catalyst that starts a new chapter in his life. The saying "Life is what happens to you when you are making other plans" rings true to Frank as his everyday life and values begin to be destroyed by savage and unexpected events. Hitching a lift in a plane borrowed from a film crew, Frank and his two female companion's crash land in valley in a Brazilian jungle. They discover great wealth in a strange Pyramid and eventually manage to make their way back to civilisation. The subsequent international news coverage attracts the unwelcome attention of dangerous rogue Irish Republicans and the CIA. The Republicans try to kidnap Frank for ransom and during the subsequent fight Frank kills one of them and badly wounds the other. The Republicans continue to try to capture him with ever increasing determination. At each attempt more of them die as Frank desperately tries to evade their capture. With the help of strange forces Frank escapes their clutches several times but not without high cost as friends and loved ones die around him. Frank turns and starts to fight back with anger and deadly revenge using skills taught to him many years ago. His enemies begin to die and Frank is no longer the man he once was.

About the Author

I was born in the County of Surrey, England on September 20th 1939.

My parents were poor as most of my friend's parents were in those days; even so they gave me a wonderful childhood for which I will be forever grateful. Leaving school at fifteen with very few qualifications I began a five year apprenticeship at the end of which I was called up for my National Service and served the statutory two years in the RAF which was great fund.

I married in 1963 and am blessed with a son and daughter who both have families of their own now and who made me a grandfather several times over. I progressed from engineering into sales and at the age of thirty-five started my own business in 1974. I have started two businesses and built them into saleable situations the last of which I sold in 2004. Having served my fifty years and although now theoretically retired I recently started another company which involves boats, purely for fun of course.

My recreational sports have consisted of playing village football and cricket in my teens and early twenties, squash, violently, in my thirties, and offshore powerboat racing in my forties and early fifties during which time I grew to love and respect the sea. Today I have slowed down a little and find pleasure in walking, reading, the Cinema, eating out in local 'pubs, gardening and the occasional game of golf. I am trying to find the time to write action/adventure novels, and am well into my second with a story line for a third.

I live in deepest Sussex, England, fairly close to the sea.
