About the Author

Professor Kauffman was a teacher of art and design at the University of California at Berkeley, the University of Illinois at Urbana, and the California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland, California. He has worked with students from kindergarten age through post graduate-level laboratory classes, and he has lectured to numerous art groups.
