Friends who would hear me telling of my travels and adventures while birding around the world convinced me to write a book about my experiences. "It's For the Birds" evolved from my visits to premier birding areas with tour groups who specialize in birding to nearly every country of the world.

About the Author

Born in Cumberland, Maryland and after high school graduation, military service in the USAF during the Korean War and college attendance utilizing the G.I. Bill, I acquired an interest in birding and travel, creating an avocation as well suited to my lifestyle. Currently, I participate in the Tuscarora Summit Hawkwatch where I was spring compiler for ten years.
