Bryan R. Herndon loves children and he loves math. He is a Title 1 math specialist in an inner city public school in Norfolk, Virginia. In 2005, his school had the highest third grade math scores of any public school in Norfolk. In the same year Norfolk Public Schools won the Broad Prize for Urban Education. Bryan Herndon likes to make math exciting and fun for the elementary school students he teaches. H draws upon his experiences teaching Kindergarten thru 5th grade and from creating math games for his two children age five and two. These experiences have helped inspire the creativeness necessary to capture children's interest long enough to instill solid math basics. Bryan and his wife are both natives of Norfolk where they live with their son and daughter.
