Gloria's Travels was not meant to be published. It is but a collection of letters to friends and family reflecting on her travels which took her to Britain, Scandinavia, the Mediterranean, the Isles of Greece, Tokyo and Hong Kong.
About the Author

Born in Hong Kong Gloria Tang earned her first degree in English literature and Master's degree in Education at the University of Hong Kong. She served as teacher and teacher educator in Hong Kong for years before migrating to Vancouver where she successfully completed a doctorate programme in second language acquisition and landed a position as assistant/associate professor in the Department of Language and Literacy Education at the University of British Columbia. As an academic she conducts research and writes academic papers. At her leisure she writes poetry and essays. She has been heard to remark, "My work being professor is my marriage; poetry (essays, too) is my mistress!"
