The author is the parent of a child with special needs who has remained positive throughout her whole ordeal. The author hopes to encourage both parents and their children with special needs to dream big. She was inspired by her daughter, Tianna, to never give up. She believes every child is a gift from God.

Leroy Smith Sellers is a young illustrator whose passion is to portray the beauty of the minority races in the United States. He is also interested in different cultures around the world as well as Martial Arts. Leroy majored in Illustration at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, where he resides.
