About the Author

Dr. Mildred Gonzalez immigrated to the United States in 1968. In 1973, she moved to Connecticut, where she worked as a teacher for the Connecticut Public School System. She also worked for the Vocational School as the coordinator of the Bilingual Adult Program. She has received several awards including an award from the YWCA Women in Leadership Program.

In 1999, God released Dr. Gonzalez from secular work and set her apart for His work. She has earned several degrees-a Bachelor's Degree in Human Services from New Hampshire University, a Master's Degree in Education from the University of Connecticut and a Ph.D. in Philosophy from Vision University. During the past fourteen years, God has allowed her to mentor under many, many mighty men and women of God-Pastor Benny Hinn, Bishop E. Bernard Jordan, to name a few. They all left an imprint on her life and she knows that they played an integral part in her destiny as a woman of God.

Dr. Gonzalez has evangelized through television and radio. She has also traveled extensively, both nationally and internationally. God has blessed her with a strong healing, prophetic and prosperity anointing for the Body of Christ. Her utmost desire is to see the Body of Christ fulfill God's plan and purpose for their lives and to help them discover a deeper relationship with God.

Dr. Mildred Gonzalez and her son, Dr. Felix Gonzalez, are the co-founders of Ministry of Fire International, which has headquarters in Connecticut and a satellite base in Costa Rica. Presently, they co-labor together with several other ministries in Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, El Salvador and Nicaragua, Mexico, India, Pakistan, Africa, England and Spain.
