About the Book

Emails From A Nut is a compilation of very funny real exchanges from a slightly deranged but harmless eccentric. Jackson Snead goes on various tangents to the frustration of unsuspecting company representatives. From assisting Imperial Tobacco in cracking a cigarette smuggling ring or trying to understand VISA's policy regarding his new political party, the Vancouver Island Separation Association, (VISA), Jackson Snead chronically misunderstands their instructions. Some of the reps get in the spirit of it and others find themselves back peddling to end their association with him. Laugh yourself silly as he tries to donate his beloved squid to an aquarium or set a new Guinness world record for "most people in unison with a bodily function." Sometimes it is amazing that they write back to him at all, but hey, that's their job isn't it?

About the Author

<

Since he left high school in the late 70's, Jackson Snead has been searching the world for his biological parents. Jackson was found abandoned on the tundra near Churchill, Manitoba wrapped in sealskin when he was about 4 years old. Now at 45 years old, he has had many more narrow escapes, which tend to lead him into his next adventure. He has held positions as head of the Kenyan Future Chicken stock market, a quality assurance assistant at an gemstone manufacturing laboratory, and as living God of one of the last cargo cults in the South Pacific. Currently operating a double-decker bus as a mobile chicken restaurant, he expects to attend many country fairs this summer if he can ever get it freed from under a railroad bridge in Northern Saskatchewan.

Eric Pittman is an associate of Jackson Snead and assisted in the compilation of this book. Eric is a writer of many short essays that have been read on CBC radio. Living on Vancouver Island, his path has crossed many times with his longtime friend Jackson Snead. Eric has had a variety of professions from helicopter pilot to photographer to production manager of a glass plant.
