Black Gemini is an unusual combination of sci-fi and romance. The scene is set in the future in space, with a few new futuristic features. It is more a romance than a sci-fi novel, and aimed really for adults as it contains romantic and sexual relationships.

Lieutenant Jessica Wilson was one of the new trainers aboard the space station Gemini. General Viper was the powerful and corrupt leader of Gemini. Admiral Watts was his second in command. Viper was a very cold, uncaring ,cruel, and vindictive man,who used extreme methods to obtain results.

Millie Hopkins and Mike Hunter both trainers of the base knew as everyone else did he was not a man to be crossed or challenged. Yet Jess found him strangely attractive both physically and intellectually. He had a deep dark past, one she was determined to discover. Their feelings soon turned to love and passion,but an old enemy from his past returned and threatened to distroy his happiness.

Could he battle his enemy, his fears, and regrets to win back Jess, or was it all just too late?

About the Author

Hello to you all, My name is Rachael Kirby. I am 34, married to Neil with two wonderful boys Daniel 9, and Benjamin 7.

It has always been a dream of mine to one day hopefully write a novel. Some thing I never thought I would get the chance to do. Yet sometimes fate steps in and shows you the way. I believe everything happens for a reason and some times you need to believe in yourself and have a go.

This is my first book and hopefully one of many. I have always been a big fan of sci-fi and romance in this book I have combined the two. I have been to many sci-fi conventions for a few years now and have had the honour of meeting many famous actors from such classics as Star Wars, Red Dwarf, Doctor Who, Battlestar Gallactica, to name but a few. They are all wonderful people and have many interesting and funny stories to tell.

My family have been my drive and support throughout and have been very patient and encouraging from the beginning. I have had to overcome many obstacles, and setbacks. Finding the time to write sometimes was difficult especially with an autistic child, but it is some thing I know I'm meant to do.

I have already got another two books under way so in a few months more stories will be available.
