About the Author

Joseph A. Melfi was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pa. and is a graduate of LaSalle University. He is retired and lives in Crystal Lake, Illinois. He and Judy, his wife of 43 years, spend the winter months in Bradenton, Florida, where he was inspired to write this story. As a father of three and grandfather of four, Joe has read countless children stories. He hopes you enjoy this unique story as much as he enjoyed writing it.
