About the Book About the Author Excerpts

About the Book

The book describes the biological effects of ionizing radiation (somatic and genetic). It shows how residents of planet earth have been secretly exposed to radioactive fallout from the air testing of nuclear weapons. It describes radiation exposures to atomic and non-atomic workers and the general public. It covers radiation hazards in the home, from radium dialed watches and instruments. The book shows how radiation exposure increases the risk of cancer. It demonstrates the way cover-up, secrecy and ignorance has harmed many people on planet earth. It relates radiation fallout and heavy rainfall areas to pockets of cancer in B.C. It shows the way radon gas has become the second most silent killer. The book also describes many of the benefits of radiation including attack on cancer, also the way x-radiation is used to detect major flaws in commercial aircraft saving hundreds of lives. It has commercial uses such as sterilization of food, inspection of oil pipelines, x-ray of patients and inspection of suspicious packages.
