About the Author

Engineer, salesman, businessman, inventor, entrepreneur, author, and lecturer, Chuck Blethen has 40 years' experience traveling and drinking wines. He has made 100's of professional sales presentations to executives in many of the Fortune 500 companies. He has been a guest lecturer at various colleges and universities over the years. He has traveled in 68 countries and speaks four languages.

His hobby - and passion - has always been winemaking. He has presented seminars on "Winemaking at Home" sponsored by The Brewers Connection. He is also a frequent contributor of wine articles for various magazines and newsletters. Currently Chuck is teaching classes in "Winemaking" and "Wine Etiquette" as part of the City of Scottsdale's Special Interest Program in the Parks & Recreation.

He also teaches Winemaking and wine tasting classes for the Scottsdale Community College. His wines have won blue ribbons at the Arizona State Fair Wine Tasting Competition. He was featured in the February 2006 Toastmaster Magazine. He has presented hundreds of seminars on wine tasting, wine history, and wine etiquette and is often hired as a luncheon/dinner speaker. He has been hired to be wine lecturer aboard cruise ships. He now lives in Scottsdale, Arizona at his personal vineyard/winery with his wife and two cats.
