On his second visit to 'Obwarin' Leo takes his Stunt Kite.

About the Book

Leo can’t wait to take another rainbow ride with his eccentric grandfather and hopes he will be able to take his Stunt Kite...

Travel with them as they become embroiled in the search for one of the old man’s childhood friends.

Meet little Miss Jenkins the ‘oh so nice lady’ who lavishes cakes and lemonade on all the children that visit her - or does she!

Why does everything in Miss Jenkins garden becomes grey, just as soon as the children are inside and the triangular gate is closed?

How can Leo and his Grandfather possibly save them when all they have with them is the boy’s kite?

Book One of this series, I Tickled A Fish, is also available from Trafford Publishing.

About the Author

Born into a Welsh mining community during the early part of the Second World War the Ninth Child is the youngest in a family of high achievers.

Fiercely proud of the working class ethic our author gained a fine arts degree and taught for 30yrs in junior & secondary education.

With a grown up family and grandchildren these illustrated stories are a belated acknowledgement to his own children of something he would love to have done for them.

Inspired by and dedicated to the grandchildren who have brought such joy and happiness to everyone, they reflect a spirit of better late than never.
