In this book, Part 2, Paddy and Penny Pig are abducted twice - initially by friendly aliens and later by the dreaded Arachnids. Friendly aliens abduct the pigs from their piggery and shuttle them to a giant mother ship outside earth's solar system. Paddy and Penny meet with Councilors of the Intergalactic Federation and receive genetic adjustments to accelerate their development.

The pigs share amazing adventures when they visit a blue planet called Vergon. The pigs and their Vergonian friends are abducted by the dreaded Arachnids, but are soon rescued. Paddy and Penny visit Centronium in a distant galaxy where they receive remedial schooling. Old and new friends join the pigs in visiting a moon called Hydra before returning to their home planets.
