About the Author
Pedro H, and Lazara D. Castellanos, we are two of nine brothers and sisters! With a Mother, that had a passion for writing as well, Our Mother had a number of written poems, Poems that were left behind in Cuba, Her native country, when she decided to leave and come to the U.S. in 1980.
Pedro and I both had a passion for writing ever since our early teen years. We wrote our own separate ways, without even knowing we had something in common! We were both Poets, Just like our Mother. Then one day my brother mentioned to me that he had some poems that he had written. It wasn’t until then that I knew that we shared the same kind of Passion "writing".
It was then when I suggested that we should put all our poems together and write a book. Ever since then, we have been working on it. We have had to make a lot of sacrifices and have had a lot of obstacles and struggle, To write this book, we have worked on it from head to toe without any help!
By working together as a team, Today we have made our Dreams comes true... One of my many goals was to publish this wonderful book, Volume I and II. Hoping that it will reach many people and touch their inner souls would be our greatest accomplishment yet.
