Sally is the "well-behaved" calico cat that belongs to the Shepherd Family. She has her daily routine that the family sets their clocks by, until one day she disappears. After a frantic search, the Shepherds finally find Sally... only she is not alone. She has a litter of kittens, hiding in the blackberry bushes out in the field. While hunting, Sally finds an orphaned kitten - who she adopts. As the kittens grow, the differences become more noticeable. Sally cannot understand why no one will accept her new kitten. The new kitten finally proves his worth and becomes everyone's little "Stinker", (especially Sally's)!

About the Author

Growing up the daughter of a committed, career Game Warden, I was taught to love and respect all animals, and the beauty that surrounds them. Through the encouragement of my mother and grandmother I have grown to love the art of writing… whether it be; poetry, songs, articles, or books.

Now a mother of four awesome children of my own, it has been my joy to pass on these loves to them.

The idea for Sally's Stinker was taken from many of the true-life experiences of my childhood. May you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it for my children.
