About the Book About the Author Excerpts Catalogue Information About the Book
Bericus, an old planet in a far off galaxy, teeming with advanced life forms, is hit by a fierce asteroid storm. Fearing destruction of the planet C-Ton©™, our intrepid hero, becomes a Space Snail when he and his family seek their fortunes in a new world.
Their space craft crash lands on Earth in the Cretaceous Period, where the family are separated by an earthquake.
Stranded on a strange planet, C-Ton©™ is attacked by Dinosaurs and only saved by two small lizards.
When Earth is hit by the asteroid cloud that killed the Dinosaurs, C-Ton©™ and his new friends take refuge in a cave and go into suspended animation for 65 million years.
The Space Snail and friends awake in the 21st Century and are shocked by the environmental disasters they encounter. With a gizmo-packed shell, super speed as well, ingenious solutions to pollution and dedication to conservation, C-Ton©™'s ready to help save planet Earth.
C-Ton©™ is amazed to discover that he is, when questioned, a walking and crawling history book about Earth. He was not aware that the computer in his brain had become active by a strong earthquake many thousands of years before he himself awoke. It had been storing information about happenings on Earth's surface all the time that he 'slept' on. Everybody learns a great deal more about history from C-Ton©™'s computer as the story unfolds.
Joined by a seagull and a mole, the friends, along with C-Ton©™ tackle all issues that confront them on their quest to find his missing family, who he believes were also put into suspended animation.
Initially, C-Ton©™ is unaware that others also escaped from Bericus and landed on Earth. They seem hell-bent on spreading catastrophic disasters and destruction with terror-disks stolen and brought with them through space.
Are the group of friends capable of stopping these evil forces?
