Boys and girls are fascinated by animals and often mimic them. This poetry book encourages children to use their imagination and jump like a frog or stomp like an elephant.

About the Book

Children of all ages are fascinated by animals. Girls and boys have vivid imaginations and love to pretend. They mimic different kinds of animals that reflect their looks, personalities, and behaviors. In this book of rhymes, children quack like a duck, run fast like a cheetah, swim like a fish, etc.

At the end of the book, children will have a chance to personalize their books by writing their own poems and answering the question: If you could be an animal, which one would YOU be?

Dedication

This book of poems will excite preschoolers with its musical verse and colorful illustrations. Primary school children will use their imaginations and imitate some of these animals. Older girls and boys will be encouraged to write poems of their own. There is something for all young children to enjoy in this fun-filled poetry book.
