About the Author

Born in the city of Punta Arenas in the Chilean side of Patagonia, in the extreme south of South America, Roehrs studied Computer Engineering and emigrated to Australia in 1986, where has worked in the computer industry for over fifteen years. During this time, he has undertaken projects in computer maintenance, networking, systems administration and computer security. With expertise in routing, Unix, Linux, firewalls, a variety of server applications and networking protocols he has the expertise to design, maintain and administer computer systems, providing him with an excellent background to design the systems described in Crashing Johny's Party.
