About the Author


Marisela Cavazos was born and raised in Texas. As a graudate from the University of Texas in Austin, she has been has been teaching Language Arts to 7th graders for 8 years. She is currently working on her first young adult novel.

About the Illustrator


Stephen Dwyer is a middle school art teacher who enjoys working with young people. He has also worked as an illustrator, artist and designer.
