About the Author and Illustrator

Olga Majola holds a B.A., B.Ed and a M. Ed. She has spent 25 years teaching elementary school, with 4 of those years being spent in fly-in communities located in the Canadian Boreal Forest. She and her husband have spent the past 10 years living and working in Pelly Crossing, Yukon. This is Olga’s third book and she is currently working on her fourth.

Sheri Gordon was born and raised in Saskatchewan and is a completely self-taught artist. She seeks to bring out the life in the animals in her art, working in a highly realistic manner in a variety of mediums, including the watercolours she has used in this book. Her works are highly sought after and collected throughout North America. Sheri has exhibited in various shows both locally & internationally and has won several awards.
