A surprisingly low-effort therapy led to improvements unmatched by traditional therapies. These experiences raised an intriguing question: Is it possible there is a common root cause to many mental disorders?

About the Book

Is it possible the human brain isn't that complex after all? What started with unconventional therapies for my son's dyslexia turned out to become an amazing journey. A surprisingly low-effort therapy led to improvements unmatched by traditional therapies. As a result, his dyslexia and ADHD are essentially cured.

Being a computer specialist myself, I saw striking similarities with the capacity management of large computers and wanted to understand what was going on. This led to the development of a model that explains how the human brain may be processing information.

These experiences, in combination with the model, raised an intriguing question: Can it be that there is one common root cause for a whole list of mental conditions and disorders, as well as for general mental fitness? Can this root cause be "capacity bottlenecks" in different parts of the human brain?

The success claims of several unconventional therapies, combined with the model, provide reasoning that this is the case. Hence, and apart from providing fresh views for those suffering from mental conditions and disorders, this book is a request for research along those lines.

The list of potentially affected conditions and disorders includes, but is not limited to, dyslexia, ADHD, eye-focusing problems, poor concentration, poor memory, headache/migraine, depression, fatigue, autism, dyscalculation, obnoxious behavior, whiplash, dizziness and a lack of general mental fitness. Apart from this, it provides reasoning as to what may be causing and contributing to today's high violence and crime levels, and where solutions may be found.
