A serial rapist is terrorising a Caribbean island. The police seem baffled and fear is growing. How many victims will the rapist claim before he's caught... if he's caught?

About the Book

Deputy Chief Constable Sam Dillon is appointed Commissioner of Police of the small Caribbean island of Avariss. When he and his wife, Annie, leave England and arrive on the island they soon experience some of the problems and peculiarities of living in a new environment and having to deal with different behaviours, attitudes and customs.

Meanwhile, a dark character in the shadows is stalking his victims.

A series of violent rapes takes place but, despite all their enquiries, the police seem baffled. Dillon and his detectives grow more concerned and frustrated.

As the island suffers other dramatic events - a hurricane and a major fraud in one of the island's banks - the rapist continues to stalk and claim his victims. Public concern is mounting and the pressure is on.

How many will fall prey to the rapist before he is caught? Will he be caught at all?
