Going to the Beach is the second book by Jeff Martindale and his first children's book. He is the author of Random Thoughts, a collection of short stories, and his work has appeared in a variety of smaller literary magazines. The illustrator is Lara Smither, a graphic artist from Tennessee who is talented in several mediums. This is her first illustrated book.
