About the Book About the Author Excerpts

About the Book

These four Concordances are alphabetical arrangements of all the principal words in The Herald of Coming Good, Meetings with Remarkable Men, Views from the Real World and Life is Real Only Then, When 'I Am'. They are a companion volume to the previously published and well-received Concordance to All and Everything by G.I. Gurdjieff. There are complete references to the pages in the text. All the principal compound words are cross-referenced. The primary aim of the Concordances is to facilitate the study of Gurdjieff's ideas by immediately making available to the reader all his uses of a particular word or expression. Many groups of words, such as those describing numbers or colours, have been collected together to simplify searches. These concordances will help the development of an exegesis of Gurdjieff's ideas. They are indispensable to a study of Gurdjieff's ideas and deserve a space on every student's bookshelf.
