Abba!! Abba!! is an inspiring story about a father who takes time with his three children and invites them to come along with him to the park for a day of adventure and fun. Dad takes much interest with the smaller children Theresa and Thomas while David, the big brother, plays football with the other boys there. Daddy makes a fun-filled day more enjoyable when he introduces the animals to the children. He lovingly points out a few lessons about the eyes they all have and compares them to our eyes. He teaches them about the comfort the papa bear brings to the baby cubs and expresses in comparing it to the love and care he has for his children. As the children all meet up at the swing set, they witness a boy fall off the swing and get seriously hurt. They hear him cry aloud Abba!! Abba!! as the tears stream down his cheeks. They are familiar with the man's love who runs over to comfort the young boy, though they don't understand the words spoken with their minds they do understand with their hearts. On the way home after a beautiful sunny day the children ask dad about the man and boy, in wonder, about the language spoken. Dad lovingly explains the Aramaic tongue is their heritage and ties it into the words spoken from the cross of Jesus. After a compassionate talk with the children about God the Father's love for all of us, he brings the children into an imagination exploration into the heart of the Father. He touches their heart and life with his own love for his children through God the Father in Heaven's love.

About the Author

Lynda Collins is married with three children and lives in Western Massachusetts. This is her first children's book and she looks forward to writing more faith inspired works. Her brother in-law John, enjoyed illustrating this current book and hopefully he will assist in any of her future works.
