About the Book

Culinary Reflections - Food for Thought
Jeanette Sinclair

Are you confused by what 'they say' is good for you?
Milk or Soy? Butter or Margarine? And what about red Meat ?
We live in a world of ever-changing and conflicting opinions. Who is right? What is the Truth?
God is the Chief Nutritionist and designer of man's body, soul and spirit.
When he created natural whole-Foods, everything was 'good' for the purpose for which it was created.
Surely we ought to consult his Word as a Guide to healthy living; physical, moral and spiritual?

My personal dietary search ended up as an in-depth Bible Study and Typology (truth hidden in consistent patterns, pictures, types and shadows). Biblical Prophecy is a 'pattern' for history, with many fulfilments between the first and final: History repeats itself. Studying these patterns opens our understanding to the wonders of God's Word and the wealth of exciting treasures yet to be discovered.

Did you know the Bread of Life was born in the House of Bread?
Why is the eating of Blood forbidden?
Who does Israel really belong to?
What has the command, given to Noah, about man consuming Meat, to do with Joshua, Christ, and the Promised Land?
Why collect Fish and Bread remains in baskets?

While on earth, we are subject to physical Laws (gravity, ageing), and our Food either poisons our systems or keeps us healthy.
The same applies spiritually.
You are what you eat, and so we need to equip ourselves with the mind of God and become discerning about what we 'eat', or we will be led astray in these last days.

I hope this Book will inspire readers to healthier eating, and instil in them a hunger to search out the wonders of God's Word, so they stand in awe and worship the Almighty God.
