About the Book

Since 1999 there have been an increasing number of child assaults in public schools. Public property, including schools, churches and synagogues, have been vandalized. Students and teachers have been assaulted - even murdered - on school property. Editorials, TV commentators, government officials and other civic leaders have asked the question over and over, "Why this increase in child delinquency?" Those of us in the field of psychotherapy have known the answers but nothing definitive has been written for public consumption. Since I have known, and taught, a large portion of the answer and explanation to this public dilemma, I felt constrained to write it down so the public could understand. But more importantly, so the parents of the upcoming generation could prevent the continuing cycle of such a public disgrace, I have written carefully a positive and constructive agenda of parenting for those parents who wish to make a difference.

In a series of chapters on every phase of child development I have given "how to" instructions for parents to enable them to guide their children from birth through 6 years old in the rudiments of mature Christian living. Specific instruction along with examples, are calculated to make the confused pathway of young parents, in a complicated fast-paced world, easier.
