Vanessa L. Gittens is a Mommy to a precious baby girl, Ciara Janae, and a wife to a wonderful man, Douglas. She has always worked with children, but her heart belongs to the ones at P.S.82 Q. in Jamaica, N.Y. They were her inspiration for this book.
