About the Author

Cassidy Scaglione was born in the mountain of Canmore, Alberta, and has been making up stories since before she could read. She has been home-schooled all her life and believes that said environment has allowed her to grow into the creative person that she is today. Cassidy, though a writer all her life, only discovered the fantasy genre after reading the Lord of the Rings series. She considers fantasy to be her niche and intends to continue writing it until the day she dies. She now resides in Turner Valley Alberta, which she thinks of as her personal shire.
