This is the attempt of one of the participants. It is sincere and may justify the hope that it is accurate.

A pediatrician, radiologist, educator, and marine, Gene Blank and Esther make their home in Portland, Oregon. Three daughters are scattered around the country. Gene received his BA from John Hopkins University in 1948 and MD in 1954.
