About the Book

About the Author


While she has authored only a couple of other titles, Ms. Davis has written dozens of short stories, essays, poetry and news articles. Among her favorites are a novel, Maybe Tomorrow and prose, But, Not For Me. She was born about three hundred miles between Dallas, Texas, and New Orleans, Louisiana, in the small town of Monroe, Louisiana. She has made her home in the East Bay area of San Francisco since 1964. She is twice married and the mother of three.
