About the Author

I'm a homeowner living in a village in co Tyrone Northern Ireland. I like village life; I couldn't see myself living in a city. I enjoy the peace and quiet that village life offers me. My hobbies are music, sport, watching TV, reading, and of course poetry. I've been writing poems for about four years. I started off by writing Limericks, I wrote a book of Limericks about most cities, towns and villages in Northern Ireland. My book sold well locally. I've written over four hundred poems and some have been published in anthologies.

I get ideas for my poems from various sources. Sometimes some things give me an inspiration for a poem, but I've written most of my poems from ideas that have come into my head when I'm not even thinking of poetry. I must admit I wasn't really in to poetry until I started writing poems but now, I enjoy reading other poets works and have many books by a lot of top writers.
