About the Book

Jamal is a charming, charismatic, and outgoing person, until one day his womanizing ways got the best him, A one night stand turned into a stalking situation that cost him his job, his career and almost his life. Escaping with his life in shambles, Jamal relocates to San Diego, from Baltimore to get a new start on life and a fresh batch of women. Because of Jamal's own insecurities, he turned to running women as his drug of choice. Jamal hopes that one day he will find that special person to spend the rest of his life with.

While living in San Diego Jamal has a small group of close friends that he trusts. Even though they all have their own personal issues, they are always there for each other. Jamal has a live in girlfriend Stephanie who he loves, but because of his commitment issues, he forces Stephanie into unfamiliar territory which caused her to go astray. Unfortunately it back fires on her and leaves her all alone and pregnant to Jamal's best friend.

This edge of your seat drama filled novel is very intense as lines are crossed loyalty is in no ones vocabulary, and emotions flare out of control. In the end nobody wins, just various degrees of losing.

About the Authors

My full name is Brian L. King, I was born and raised in York Pennsylvania. I graduated high school in 1989 and enlisted in to the U. S. Navy for 8 years. Thereafter, I worked as a correctional officer for 6 and a half years. Trying to break away from limits and boundaries, I am now a working actor, with a desire to express myself and entertain others. My motivation for writing this novel is to open up the lines of communication to help bridge the gap between friends, lovers and the general public, to talk about topics in our society, that people normally shun away from. For example, unhealthy relationships, domestic violence, suicide, child molestation, living with AIDS and the death of someone very close. We need to stop ignoring the mayhem that affects our everyday lives and start voicing our opinions. We also need to let people know that there is help available regardless of the situation you are facing. And if nothing else, listen, it might make a difference.
