A computer scientist, a victim of terrorism, is confronted with the prospect of the killers of his parents attaining political power and is presented with the opportunity to prevent it.
About the Book
Ricardo Serrano is a victim of terrorism. He and his sister Almudena were orphaned in their childhood, their parents killed by Basque separatists. Now an eminent computer and material scientist, Ricardo is confronted with the prospect of the killers of his parents attaining political power and responsibility... and is presented with the opportunity to prevent it.
But in order to do this Ricardo must risk divulging a closely held secret, a breakthrough discovery he has made in material science, a discovery with global implications. Uppermost in Ricardo's mind, however, is the need to help Almudena, his big sister, tortured by the memory of the death of their parents.
Powerful interests in the USA, Russia and Japan are watching Ricardo Serrano closely; suspicious that he is harbouring the secret and desperate to control it. Ricardo returns home to Spain, tripping alarms in Washington and Moscow. The action is focused in Spain, the implications are global.
