Maybe you stopped believing in Santa because it doesn't make sense. The Rest of the Santa Story may restore your faith. Woodchucks, shy but helpful, have made Santa's job possible.

About the Book

Everyone knows that Santa Claus can’t really deliver all of the presents in the world on one single night. That's why some people don't believe in Santa. What most people don’t suspect is that woodchucks have helped with Christmas presents all along. They have an underground network where they hear and report what you want for Christmas. Now we have the Internet, and it is even easier for them than it was long ago. Woodchucks help Santa by pushing presents up through the floor. Didn’t you always wonder why people without a chimney still get their presents?

About the Author

Martha Lindberg has taught college courses in computer technology and music at South Central College and Minnesota State University, Mankato. This is her first children’s book. It is inspired from a family fairy tale invented by her husband, John. John used to entertain the couple’s three children with his invented “woodchuck stories” when they were younger. Joan Scudella, the illustrator, is Martha’s aunt from Palmyra, Missouri. Joan has charmed family and friends with her drawing and crafts throughout her life. This is Joan’s first illustrated book.
