The day he comes across an attractive girl in the subway station on his way to work, his senses are aroused. Bold and beautiful, she is sassy; her tongue is sharper than a double-edged sword. In all his life, no woman had ever managed to grasp his attention so profoundly. And no matter how objectionable the encounter is, Kindrick is curiously charmed. As the desire beats stronger within his heart to be matched with love, the pressures mount. Faithfully, he prays to God for answers; but the only voice that he hears is that of his own father. In a provoking challenge, Kindrick's father plants a seed that ultimately sends him on a precarious mission.

In a fleeting effort to try and recapture the things he missed out on in his youth, Kindrick undergoes a major role reversal, and subconsciously, he reinvents himself. Throughout his journey, he reaches out to someone who always seems to brighten the dullness of his world. As their friendship grows, his passion is ignited. With his heart on his sleeve, Kindrick puts forth a shameless effort to entice the apple of his eye..but the apple is not yet ripe.
