Hokombo, an African American teenage rapper, and his voodoo believer grandpa are challenged to solve 3 bizarre assassinations while searching for his long lost grandma, in an un-put-downable magic-logic thriller.

About the Book

This is his third book, the second to be formally published. This book - Voodoom- the Native Vendetta - is a mystery and adventure novel. It is sure to run a chill down your spine or thrill you with spontaneous rap songs. The author has made the 13 year old African American hero sing whenever he comes across a new clue towards solving the mystery with his charming microbiologist and vodun believer grandfather. The story begins in New Orleans, USA. The plot gets more and more intense starting with inter-country bizarre assignations ,voodoo wagna dolls, an artist whose paintings attract insects, genetically engineered gigantic arthropods, hounding by a queer and dangerous imported Latino animal called Chupacabra, mysterious voodoo codings and decodings, giggly scientists who speak in rhymes, tribal villages being wiped out with disease, a foreign company that has brought doom to Haiti, yet the daughter of the owner gets involved in the plot, native vodun activists who want to liberate the locals from injustice. All this, happening in the context of real Voudon rituals and black magic spells and the search for Hokombo's long lost grandmother.

"I want to continue to write interesting mystery stories like this, because I know people love to read them. But along with that my characters will explore different religions and civilizations. I hope each time they will realize that what ever religion, culture or community one may belong to, they are actually all cool people out there... "
