About the Book

The Old Red Barn is the first in a series of books titled Grandma's Tales of Long Ago. About the Author

Paula Drayton Durrant was born in Washington D.C. and grew up in Alexandria, Virginia as an only child. She currently resides in Salt Lake City, Utah with her husband David Durrant. They are the parents of 7 children and 5 grand children.

Over the past 30 years or more, Paula's family has urged her to publish her stories. This time she is finally going to do it!

Paula has loved poetry all her life. She wrote her first poem when she was only seven years old. All of these stories are based on happy memories of true events.

It is hoped that Paula's books will be loved and enjoyed by the young and the young at heart for many years to come.
