by Kimberly Moon

32 pages; Saddle stitched; catalogue #06-2831; ISBN 1-4251-1072-X; US$14.78, C$17.00, EUR12.14, £8.50

Stylish way of teaching children the English alphabet with the use of comical alphabet characters.

About the Book

Alphabet People is a book aimed at children from the age of 3 upwards. This is a book that will appeal to all parents to teach their children the Alphabet. Each letter in the Alphabet comes to life as a comical character in a stylish way which children can relate to and make learning the English Alphabet great fun. Each page is made up of a full colour illustration, capital & lowercase Alphabet letter, and a word with a sentence which describes what the letter stands for. The final page is a double page spread of all 26 illustrations for children to test their memory of what they have learnt through reading the book.

About the Author

After studying Graphic Design, it has been a dream for me to have my own children's book published. I would like children to be able to enjoy learning the alphabet through my illustration with comical alphabet characters. Although this book is intended for the English speaking market, in time I would like the book to be used as a learning guide for foreign language children wanting to learn the English alphabet.

For each book which is sold a percentage of the royalties will be donated towards a hospice charity for terminally ill children.
