Some people learn prayer by hearing others. Some learn to pray by reciting prayers they memorize. Others learn to pray by reading and studying prayers. Proficiency comes by praying.

About the Book
Some people learn to pray by hearing other people pray, and some by reciting prayers which they have been taught or have memorized. Others learn to pray by reading and studying prayers
But praying is not a difficult process to learn, and the benefits to the human spirit and the individual life are, unquestionably, more than worth the effort.
Praise and thanksgiving are often accompanied by feeling of joy, a heart sings. There is always an element of the ecstatic in praise, because the prayer itself deals with that which stands apart from our frail, human limitation.
In the introduction to Heart Sing, Jim Ware writes, "I have found that I cannot pray prayers of praise without my own spirit being elevated." His book of 365 prayers, useful for both corporate and private worship, shares with others his wonderful heart sing experiences.
