About the Book

Come back Anytime, Kiddo is a compilation of diverse happenings in the life of the author. Each story has its roots in fact and demonstrates Mr. Parker's reactions to certain times in his life on the eastern plains of Colorado. Whether the topic be a May Day sweetheart or a "Pikes Peak Epiphany", the author wishes to convey to the reader a message of hope and inspiration. Mr. Parker also hopes the book will allow the reader an opportunity to relate the contents to his own life.

In reading the book each person will encounter persons and events that may give him insight into his own life. From "Curiosity, Cussedness and Cats" to "Discounting Stores", each story will reveal to the reader something of himself and those around him.

About the Author

Warren Parker resides in the eastern plains of Colorado, not so very far from where is great grandfather homesteaded in 1887. He grew up on these plains and carries in his heart the majesty and beauty of all they represent. This book is a recollection of his earlier days on those plains, but its message is one that runs true to his day and forever. Many of the stories come from his own experiences while others are the fruit of those folk with whom Mr. Parker has shared prairie life. Mr. Parker hopes that each reader will find some thing in the writings that will give him some insight into his own life and dreams. So, read on, dear hearts, and remember, you are always welcome to Come Back Anytime, Kiddo.
