Pictures are included; faces where photographs are available, along with pictures of the homes lived in before the war, and the headstones of where they now lie or their names on commemorative walls.

About the Author

Bruce Hubbard is, but not for much longer, the Head of the History Department at Ainsdale Hope High School. Married with two daughters, he has taught at the school for 25 years. A member of the Western Front Association, his interest in those who made the supreme sacrifice in World War One has resulted in him, and his wife, Margaret spending many holidays touring the battlefields of France and Flanders.
