About the Author

Michael Ceperich was born in 1916 in Steelton, Pennsylvania, the son of European immigrants. He went to high school in Steelton and attended Armour Institute of Technology in Chicago. He married Elizabeth Klein in 1940.

After spending two years, 1943-45, in the South Pacific as a member of the United States Navy, Mr. Ceperich worked as a production line designer/engineer for a food processing company and later for various oil and chemical companies.

A lifetime of hard work and saving culminated in his purchase in 1969 of a 35-space Mobile Home Park in Ramona, California.

Mr. Ceperich still resides in Ramona with his late wife's cat, Mascot.
