About the Author

I earned the following degrees:

A.A, Sociology, San Bernardino Valley College.

B.A., Spanish, San Bernardino University.

Three Teaching Credentials, La Vern University.

Masters, Administration, Redlands University.

Doctor of Philosophy, United States International University.

I earned 16 credits form Guadalajara University, Mexico on a teaching program sponsored by the United States Government.

Speaking fluently English and Spanish, I have traveled throughout the United States and Mexico and visited Canada.

During my military career I observed human beings at Hawaii, Saipan, Okinawa and Iwo Jima.

I belong to the greatest generation that coped with dire circumstances from the Great Depression and World War II. I have toiled in a significant number of occupations, including pick and shovel, field hand worker, truck driver, baseball player, umpire, prize ring, civic affairs, Councilman, educator.
I have written two other books: The Mexican American Political Experience in Colton California; and The Bareno Link in Experience in Terms of Identity
I have been blessed with three children, eight grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.
